The hidden Safari Project shows how we can create hidden pictures with in other pictures using warm and cool colors. Draw a picture with cool colors and cover it with patterns of warms colors. Use a red see through piece of plastic to watch the warm colors fade away and the cool picture pop up.
Extension Activity: This activity shows the amazing work of colors, but it also shows the usefulness of camouflage. Learn about camouflage and go on a hike, look for animals that are blending in to their surroundings, how are they using color to hide from predators.
